The Sorrow of Silk is an atmospheric, 3D platformer game, created in two weeks for Buddy Up Jam: Winter 2023 (theme: "Soft").
You are a college student going through a dark time in your life. The world is asking a lot of you and all you want to do is sleep...
Maybe things will work themselves out overnight in your dreams.
This game contains references to topics such as depression and suicide which some players may find distressing.
CW: negative self-talk, depression, suicidal ideation, insects, spiders
"Arachnaphobia" mode and "More Trigger Friendly" mode (less negative messages) are available in the settings.
WASD - Move
E - Interact
Space - Jump
Space while in air - Double Jump
Escape - Pause Menu

Short but a nice little game, was fun to play <3
Looks nice, can't play it in browser too much laggy. I watched your gameplay
If your on chrome, it might be laggy. However, in Firefox the browser was much better.
This is nice! That third spider level really shot up in difficulty. I was not able to get past it, but would really like to see the ending.
You might have forgotten you can double-jump, because once you're on top, I would have struggled to even touch the floor.
